From Gandhi to Globalization begins
Hi Everyone. My name is Ellliott Cisneros and I am one of the leaders for the Gandhi to Globalization summer SAGE trip (handsome devil on the far left). I thought I’d jump in here and get us started. The first trip (Arts and Religion) is in India - less than a week before our trip departs! I am very excited as we have an amazing group of students with whom I have had the good fortune to share a number of emails; an unbelievable itinerary put together by Nathan Scott the Director of SAGE (third from left); wonderful logistical support from Serena (second from left) and Ruth (not pictured) in the SAGE office and a great co-leader in Laura (third from right), a multi-talented teacher from Chicago. Trip leaders from both trips spent time developing learning activities and getting to know each other last weekend - we learned a lot from Marcie and Jake (far right and second from right) who are leading the Arts and Religion Trip - and we are ready to go - I’m already packed!
